Healthy Cereals to Keep Weight Down

Hi! Let me share with you one way which I use to eat cereals that does not need cow’s milk.

Add almond nuts (raw, whole, and unsalted), a couple of dates (pitted), and distilled water. Use unsalted cereals as far as possible. You don’t have to buy the commercially mixed cereals; they are rather expensive. Uncooked or unroasted oats, for example, is fine. Raw wholesome wheat germ can be added also to provide additional nutrients to your meal. Adding whole almonds gives you a nutty taste. It’s yummy and nutritious as well! Enjoy!

Raw Almonds

Alternatively, instead of adding raw almond nuts and distilled water directly into your cereal(s), try blending the two, strain the mixture with a cheesecloth, and you’ll get almond milk which is a healthy alternative to cow’s milk. Prior to blending, soak washed almonds (1 cup) in 4 cups of distilled water overnight in a refrigerator. You can add this milk to your cereals, if you prefer.

Of course, you may wish to vary by adding other food items like fruits, other unsalted nuts, etc. Try eating daily. Great way to lose a few pounds, or maintain your weight!
